Plainfield, N.H. — William Andrew Moeller, Sr., age 76, of Plainfield, passed away unexpectedly after sustaining injuries in a motor vehicle accident in Vt. on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017. He was the loving husband of Lauryn Moeller.
William was born April 22, 1940, in Bronx, N.Y. the son of the late Herman J. and Anne (Molnar) Moeller, he grew up in East Haddam, Conn. and proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force. He earned his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hartford State Technical College in 1961 and moved to N.H. where he raised his family. William was an avid skier and a talented accordion player and enjoyed traveling with his family.
Besides his wife, Lauryn, of 41 years, William is survived by his sons: Brendan K. Moeller and his wife, Lisa, of St. Petersburg, Fla., Patrick J. Moeller and his wife, Jacquelyn, of Boston; his brothers, Robert Moeller and his wife, Barbara, of Middletown, Conn. and Herman Moeller and his wife, Marion, of Hackettstown, N.J.; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son William “Will” A. Moeller, Jr.
Funeral services for Mr. Moeller will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Saint Mary Magdalen Church, 4 Buckingham St., Oakville, when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
