Charlotte, adoptable from the Upper Valley Humane Society
Charlotte came to the Upper Valley Humane Society as a very grumpy bunny. She was scared and shut down, and she would not allow the staff to handle her. It took patience and work to gain her trust, and now she has blossomed into a silly, snuggly, outgoing girl!
Charlotte loves her things and can be a little possessive, so she would do best in a home with older children. We also don’t think she can see very well.
Someone who has house rabbit experience and experience with her breed (French lop) would be ideal for her.
Charlotte is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.

Cinders, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society
“I am 3-year-old Cinders. I am a cute, funny boy.
“My elderly mom surrendered me when she realized that I was just too much cat for her. I am a big lovebug and playful too! Sadly, I was just returned after being adopted last week — apparently young children frighten me.
“I am vet checked, neutered, treated for fleas and worms, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped.”
Cinders is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.

Bella, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society
“Hi! My name is Bella and I’m a 1-year-old spayed female mixed breed. I was adopted as a puppy from Lucy Mackenzie and recently returned because it wasn’t the right household for me.
“Since I’ve been here, we’ve been working hard on building my confidence, and finding healthy ways to get my energy out. I’ve been doing lots of new things, including meeting strangers, having lots of walks and play time outdoors, and even going through obedience training classes with one of my favorite people.
“From what I understand, it’s important for me to be safely exposed to new environments and people, to help me feel more confident. My ideal home is one where there are no cats (sorry, cats), no young children (sorry, young children), and adults that are willing to help me grow and be consistent in my training. It would be a definite plus if you like to go on long walks, too.
“If you’ve been looking to adopt a dog, and have the patience needed to help me succeed, stop in and meet me today!”
Bella is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.
