Topsham, Vt. —
He was born Dec. 5, 1942, in Topsham, the son of martin and Ruth(Waters) Dexter. He graduated from Bradford Academy in 1960. He served in the United States Army and did a tour of duty in Vietnam and Germany.
He worked for E.F. Wall Construction Company for over 30 years, the last 20 as a crane operator, which he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle (Hatch) Dexter; two brothers, Lane and wife, Wilma and Tracy and wife, Marty; two sisters, Candance Ricker and husband, Bill and Sharon Darling and husband Neal; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Ruth Dexter; and two sisters, Bonnie and Pennie.
Graveside funeral services will be held in the spring in the family lot in the West Topsham Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Tri-Village Fire Department, West Topsham, VT 05086, or to the Blake Memorial Library, 676 Village Rd, East Corinth, VT 05040.
