Brownsville — A home along Route 44 near the former Ascutney ski area was heavily damaged by fire Sunday night.
A tenant who was resting on a couch told the Valley News he awoke to smoke around 9 p.m. and found flames in the master bedroom.
Nobody was injured. Fire investigators are on the scene trying to determine the cause.
