Enfield, N.H. —
She worked at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Memorial Hospital for 20 years. She is fondly remembered as the “face” of General Internal Medicine. She truly loved her job and was happiest when helping patients. Whenever Janet was told to “have a good day” she’d respond with “I’ll make it a good day!”
She was a daily rider of the Advance Transit bus system. She formed many friendships on the bus and was a part of the “bus family” that formed with other regular riders.
Janet had a huge heart and wore it on her sleeve. She would help anyone who needed it, but always in a quiet way.
Janet’s hobbies included quilting, knitting and reading. She loved her three cats Wiggles, Moses and Blossom and enjoyed spoiling them!
She is predeceased by her mother, Gladys, in 2010
A memorial service for Janet will be held at a date yet to be decided this spring.
Memorial contributions may be made in Janet’s name to the Upper Valley Humane Society, 300 Old Route 10, Enfield, NH 03748.
