Lebanon, N.H. —
Lucille lived most of her life in the Upper Valley area. She attended schools in West Lebanon. In 1943 she married Paul Archambeault. She worked at the Kleen Laundry for over 40 years. After retiring from the laundry she found joy caring for her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She spent many hours playing cards and UNO with her grandchildren. She liked to travel and spent many trips to Virginia Beach, Va. often having a family reunion with her children. One of her greatest enjoyment was shopping and buying special gifts for others. She especially enjoyed holidays and special holiday dinners at her daughter’s house. Summer time meant spending an afternoon on a park bench at the beach, smelling the ocean breeze. She loved the great outdoors and spent as much time as she could outside. One of her favorite things to do at Genesis was to play bingo. Her grandchildren, Loren, Hope, Taylor and Jordan spent many hours visiting with their grammy at Genesis. They will miss her very much.
Lucille will be remembered as a strong willed person, always looking out for others. She had a great sense of humor and at last Halloween she wore a red wig and pretended to be “pretty woman.” She could always get you to laugh with her humorous antics.
Lucille was predeceased by her father, Donald Tardiff; mother Carrie Hill, sister Lillian Jarvis, brother Maurice Tardiff, husband Paul Archambeault, son Donald Archambeault, and partner Harold Gault. She is survived by her daughter, Sally McEwen and son-in-law, Robert McEwen of Lebanon; son, Raymond Archambeault and daughter-in-law, Kathy Archambeault of Virginina Beach, son, Gary Archambeault and daugher-in-law, Cindy of Pilot Point, Texas and daughter-in-law, Patricia Archambeault of Barre, Vt.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At her request, a private family burial will take place in the spring.
