Meriden, N.H. — Anne L. Schelewa, 76, of Meriden passed away on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at the Lebanon Genesis Center. She was born in Newport, N.H. on May 11, 1940.

Ann had worked for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for many years.

She was an avid baker, liked playing games, collecting owls and collecting and visiting lighthouses. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a very giving person and a wonderful mother.

The family includes her three sons, Charles Schelewa Jr., Eric Schelewa and Carl Schelewa; one granddaughter, Ashley Schelewa; one great-granddaughter, Melody; siblings, David Walker, Lee Walker and Betty Walker; nephew, Lee and niece, Lynn.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles “Tex” Schelewa.

Visiting hours will be held at Stringer Funeral Home in Claremont on Friday, Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with Priscilla Hull officiating.
