Unity, N.H. —
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles W. Richardson and brother, Warren. She leaves behind two step-daughters, Rebecca Richardson (formerly Izzo) of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Christina Hill of Charlestown, N.H.; her two granddaughters, Casey (Izzo) McClay of Summerville, S.C. and Meghan (Izzo) Kerr of Ligonier, Pa.; and three great-grandsons. Additionally she leaves behind two nephews, Wesley and William Relation.
She graduated from Lyndon State Teacher’s College in Lyndonville, Vt., and was an elementary school teacher in both New Hampshire and Vermont for most of her life. She had fond memories of the year she taught in Germany at an Army base.
She married Charles Richardson in 1968 and they took pleasure in traveling together throughout the U.S. and Canada. She retired from teaching second grade at North Street School in Claremont, N.H. Charles (Charlie) passed away in 1994 after 26 wonderful years of marriage. Following his death she moved to Silver Maples in Claremont where she lived 11 fun filled years and then moved to Sullivan County Health Care, Unity.
Marguerite volunteered at The Fort at No. 4 where she enjoyed bringing Charlestown’s history alive. She was a member of the Charlestown Historical Society, the Charlestown’s Women’s Club and the North Charlestown Methodist Church. She enjoyed politics and a good discussion as well as music and dancing.
The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the caring, loving staff on the McConnell Unit.

The Cremation Society of New Hampshire will be hosting a memorial service to celebrate her life which will be held on June 9, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at the North Charlestown Methodist Church, Charlestown.
