Lebanon, N.H. —
She is predeceased by her Parents, Emery and Irene Newton, and her Husband Roger H. Pollard. Roger passed away Nov. 1, 2008. She has three brothers: Robert Newton of Lebanon, Everett Newton who lived most of his life in Texas, and Peter Newton of Florida. She had an Identical twin sister, Shirley Lacount of Nashua N.H. who has passed. Both Carleen and Roger were identical twins. Together the Pollards had three children, Susan Cooper, of Canaan. Michelle Pollard of Keene, and Cheryl Stone of Claremont. Mrs. Pollard also leaves behind six beloved grandchildren, Rebecca Gifford, John Talley, Colten LeBel, Brittany Bailey, Madison Bailey and Roger Carlson. There are also six great-grandchildren, Raine Gifford, Avery Gifford, Tori Gifford, Maryanne Talley, Luke and Scarlet LeBel.
Carleen worked at Kleen Laundry for several years. Mostly, she spent her time at home taking care of her husband and children. She ran a daycare for many years from her home showing her love for all children. She loved camping, bird watching, cooking and baking. She had a passion for news concerning the Royal Family and Queens of England. She loved to play cards and games, mainly Bingo. She loved entertaining and would cook huge meals for family and friends. People knew where to go to relax with a good cup of coffee, donuts, and conversation.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial calling hour at The Ricker Funeral Home at 56 School Street in Lebanon on Wednesday Jan. 25from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 5 p.m.
