Springfield, N.H. — A Troy, N.H., man was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on Thursday afternoon after falling about 50 feet from a tree in Springfield, N.H.

Zebulon Lawrence, who was working on a job site at the time, sustained multiple injuries in the fall. According to a hospital spokesman, Lawrence is listed in fair condition.

The fall took place about a mile from the nearest roadway; Lawrence was working for a tree cutting company and was out near power lines off Meadowbrook Road, according to a New Hampshire Fire and Game Department news release.

Several area police, fire and EMS agencies responded and aided in rescuing Lawrence.
