South Royalton, Vt. —
She attended school in Tunbridge, and throughout the years resided in Tunbridge, South Royalton and Bethel. She was married to Everett Moses; they were subsequently divorced. They operated a farm on Mill Road in South Royalton for many years. Her places of employment included Fyles & Rice, Merrimaids, and Ethan Allen Furniture.
She was well known for her handywork with crafts, crochet, sewing and quilting. Much of her work was displayed in the Floral Hall at Tunbridge Fair, where she also worked for several years. In addition, she was an avid bowler and enjoyed her large flower and vegetable gardens.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy (husband Fred) Gates of Barnard; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; as well as siblings, Edward Barnaby, Levi Barnaby, Marilyn Vesper, all of Tunbridge, and Beverly Burnor of Windsor; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her companion of many years, John Dame, of South Royalton.
She is predeceased by three daughters: Marjorie Moses, Sally Camp and Barbara Savery; as well as five grandchildren. Also predeceasing her are her parents; two sisters, Bessie Roberts and Evelyn Ritter; and two brothers, George Barnaby and Richard Barnaby.

There are no public calling hours. A funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Tunbridge Church, with Pastor Tom Harty officiating.
