Hartland — Meggan Lynne Stacey and Jaime Hester were married on July 23, 2016, at the home of the bride’s parents in Hartland.

The couple’s friend Mock Abdelaal officiated at the ceremony. The bride’s sister Jillian Stacey was the maid of honor. Daniel Saudnars was the best man. Frankie Jones was the flower girl. The ring bearers were Remy Jones and the bride’s golden retriever, Olive.

The couple were married by the property’s pond beneath a cedar arch that was made by the bride’s father and was then transported to the couple’s home in Georgia. The bride’s bouquet was wrapped in satin from her maternal grandmother’s wedding dress and she wore the garter that her mother wore at her wedding. The bridegroom is wearing his grandfather’s wedding ring. Jason Cann provided the music.

The bride is the daughter of June F. and Robert H. Stacey, of Hartland. She graduated from Hanover High School in 2000 and earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., in 2004. She is employed as a fourth-grade teacher at Trinity School in Atlanta, Ga., and is the owner and operator of Meggswim Aquatics in Marietta, Ga.

The bridegroom is the son of Jeannine and Edward Hester, of Panama City, Fla. He graduated from Rutherford High School in Panama City in 1993 and earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from the University of Florida in Gainsville, Fla., in 1998. He is employed as the manager of ticket operations for the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta.

The couple honeymooned in Ireland and live in Marietta, Ga.
