Middleboro, Mass. —
She was born on Dec. 31, 1928 in Weymouth, Mass., daughter of the late Walter G. and Edith M. (Davis) Buckingham and attended local schools. A homemaker, Mrs. Galanif was devoted to her family. Mrs. Galanif was a former resident of Prospect Pines in Enfield. She was a member of the Elks Club, volunteered and attended the Canaan Senior Center.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth P. Galanif. Devoted mother of Sharon A. Bush of Pennsylvania, Linda J. Massie, Clayton E. Hewins, Jr. and Cathy L. Siudak all of Massachusetts and Lora L. DePalo of Enfield. Sister of Dorothy Sherwood of Maine, the late Ralph Buckingham, Sonny Buckingham and Carolyn Pitts. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday Dec. 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Lebanon Assembly of God, 45 Buckingham Place, Lebanon. Interment will be at a later date.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
