Goshen, NH  — Betty May (Dent) Dickerman passed peacefully Nov. 13, 2016 after a brief illness.  Born Dec. 13, 1927 the daughter of Wilfred and Lulu (Williamson) Dent, she lived in Croydon, N.H. until she married her husband Gerald H. Dickerman.  She and Gerry resided in Goshen, N.H. where they ran their dairy farm most of their lives.  Besides keeping busy with the farm, Betty loved spending time in her gardens, reading and was an avid animal lover having many dogs and cats over the years. 

Betty was predeceased by her husband Gerald , her four siblings: Ruth Lees of Springfield, Mass., Doris Kibbey of Croydon, N.H., Richard Dent of Newport, N.H. and Virgina LeDuc of Beltchertown, Mass.  and a grandson; Corey Buker.  She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Adams and her husband John of Goshen, N.H. and son Gerald Dickerman and his wife Nancy of Newbury, N.H. as well as grandsons Craig Buker and his wife Julie and James Adams and great granddaughters Lily and Willow Buker.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday Nov. 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Goshen Church. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Goshen Fire and Rescue Department.  Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
