Gay, W.Va. —
She was born a daughter of Maurice and Goldie May (Jones) Hill Sept. 26, 1938, in Norwich, Vt. Dorothy grew up in Norwich and graduated from Hanover High School. She was married to Benjamin Noblin in Norwich August 18, 1957; they made a home in White River Jct. where they raised their family and spent all of their married lives. Mr. Noblin died in 1990 and she moved to West Virginia in 2001, where she has resided since.
Dorothy enjoyed gardening, particularly her flower garden, bird watching and playing bingo. She loved being with family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband; a son, Timothy Noblin; and three brothers, Charles, Richard and James Hill.
She is survived by her children, Gary Noblin of Bradford, Vt., Richard Noblin of Etna, N.H., David Noblin and Patricia Farrell both of Gay; a brother, Donald Hill of Bradford; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. with burial in Hartford Cemetery to follow.
