Woodstock — Woodstock residents are invited to have a cup of coffee with the leaders of the town’s emergency service departments on Nov. 21 from 8-10 a.m.

Coffee With the Chiefs, at Woodstock Emergency Services Building, will include Misha McNabb, the new fire and ambulance assistant chief, Police Chief Robbie Blish and Fire Chief David Green, according to a news release from the police department.

The event will allow for a conversation between community members and the chief, to promote a stronger relationship between the police department and those it serves, the release said.

It aims to create “a more relaxed atmosphere to just stop by and say hello,” or casually discuss areas of concern or suggestions for improvements that would aid the department in its mission in providing the best possible service to town residents.

Participants can exchange a non-perishable food item for the Woodstock Food Shelf for a free cup of coffee.

The donations will support the nonprofit’s efforts to provide families with food for the holidays and beyond.
