Gay Landstrom, Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center’s interim president, thanked employees for their contributions and commitment to the hospital, its patients and the community, according to a news release from the hospital.
“Each of you has made a positive difference,” Landstrom said. “We thank you for your service and dedication to making our mission and vision a reality every day for our patients.
Staff members honored at the event included Dr. Marlene Sachs, 35 years of service; Tamra Howe, 25 years; Vickie Day, Amanda Hook, Heather Rumrill and Martha Zoerheide, 20 years; Rosemary Attwood, James Boyle, Terrilee Dana, Debra Franks, Candace Hingston, Barbara Howard, Judith Hunt, Mark Linkiewicz, Jennifer Patterson, Linda Penn, Melanie Sheehan, Gwen Spaulding, Kelli Rapp and Maureen Reed, 15 years of service; and Sarah Agnoli, Patricia Arthur, Paula Basso, Katrina Burgmeier, Robert Cowles, Susan Falzarano, John Frisbee, Dr. Alden Hall, Brenna Heighes, Jesse Hills, Elizabeth Hollinshead, Christie Dean Leary, Terri-Lynn Picard, David Podell, Beverly Rokes, Katherine Sawyer, Sharon Snide and Kitty Tilton, 10 years.

Chicoine holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of New Hampshire and completed the master of physician assistant studies program at Franklin Pierce University. She specializes in family medicine, and her clinical interests include primary care, pediatrics, orthopedics and kinesiology.
She believes that preventative medicine is important in achieving overall health and longevity, according to a news release from the hospital. She previously worked at a walk-in urgent care clinic in Berlin but “missed having an ongoing connection with the families she saw.”
