Woodstock, Vt. — H. Jay Richardson, 91, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

Jay was born on July 25, 1925, in Mayfield, N.Y. the son of Harold and Ethel (Gifford) Richardson.

A veteran of the United States Navy and business manager for Meads of Greenwich (Conn.).

He is survived by his wife Barbara (Franus) Richardson of Woodstock; his two sons, Dean Richardson of Stanford, Conn., and Terrance Richardson of Killington, Vt., his stepson, Joseph Gibson of Newport, R.I. and his stepdaughter, Susan Gibson of Youngsville, N.C. He is predeceased by a brother, David.

There will be no services at this time.
