Miller is one of the key players on a defensive unit that leads the Ivy League in fewest points allowed. He is tied for the team lead with six passes defended, one of which was an interception during a 20-17 victory over Towson on Oct. 15. It was his block of a 22-yard field goal attempt in the fourth quarter that helped secure the victory against the Tigers.
Miller has 31 tackles on the year, fifth-most on the team, despite missing a game due to an injury early in the season. He is also the Big Green punt returner and has garnered interest from NFL scouts thanks to his 4.4 speed in the 40-yard dash.
Dartmouth volleyball senior Emily Astarita was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District first team.
A neuroscience major, Astarita has started all 21 of the team’s matches so far. She leads the Big Green with 223 kills, 2.90 kills per set and 731 total attacks, is second with 49 total blocks and is third with 195 digs.

After a slow start, Kimball Union took their only lead of the match when sophomore Amalie Ball converted penalty-corner pases from Meriden’s Anna Parker and fellow senior captain Lexi Nottke.
It took just two minutes for New Hampton to tie the game, which is where things stayed the rest of the way.
Cornish’s Sofia DiAntonio had a busy day in goal, making 18 saves and getting key help all over the field from Maddy Gesner, Annie McKeown and Liz Colannino. The Wildcats visit Holderness on Saturday.
