Ithaca, n.y. — John Lovett set a school record with seven touchdowns — four passing, two rushing and one receiving — as Princeton beat Cornell for the fourth straight time on Saturday, 56-7.

Lovett accounted for five TDs in the final 20 minutes of the first half to give the Tigers (5-2, 3-1 Ivy) a 35-0 lead at the break.

Cornell (3-4, 1-3) got on the board with a 15-yard TD pass from Dalton Banks to Ben Rogers to make it 35-7, but Lovett answered two plays later with a 95-yard scoring pass to Isaiah Barnes. Lovett capped his superlative day with a 6-yard TD pass — his fourth — with 31 seconds left in the third quarter.

Penn 21, Brown 14

Philadelphia — Alek Torgersen threw for 284 yards and two scores and Penn scored all its points in the first half to defeat Brown.

Torgersen threw TD passes of 67 yards to Justin Watson and 17 yards to Christian Pearson to put Penn (5-2, 4-0 Ivy League) out in front. Tre Solomon punched it in from 1 yard with 22 seconds left before halftime.

Watson caught 11 passes for a career-high 210 yards. He became the first Penn wide receiver to register 200-plus yards in a game since 2003 when Dan Castles had 204 against Yale.

UNH 43, Stony Brook 14

Durham, n.h. — Trevor Knight threw for three touchdowns, ran for another and New Hampshire beat Stony Brook to hand the Seahawks their first conference defeat.

The Seawolves (5-3, 4-1) came in tied atop the Colonial Athletic Conference with James Madison with the Wildcats (6-3, 4-1) in a three-way tie for third. But New Hampshire took command in the third quarter with 21 points including Knight’s 1-yard run and scoring passes to Neil O’Connor and Malik Love.

Boston College 21, N.C. State 14

Raleigh, n.c. — Running back Davon Jones threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Tommy Sweeney with 4:43 left, and Boston College earned its first Atlantic Coast Conference victory since 2014 by beating North Carolina State.

East Carolina 41, UConn 3

Greenville, n.c. — Isaiah Jones moved into 2nd place on the all-time NCAA reception list with 19 catches for 185 yards and a touchdown and East Carolina routed UConn.

Saint Anselm 28, Merrimack 17

Manchester — The Hawks (2-7) celebrated senior day by holding on for their second straight win, beating the Warriors (2-7).

Yianni Gavalas completed 26 of 45 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns for Saint Anselm.

Trinity 49, Middlebury 13

Hartford, Conn. — The Bantams (6-0) moved to the top of the NESCAC standings by handing the Panthers (5-1) their first loss of the season. Middlebury turned the football over seven times on the afternoon, resulting in four Trinity touchdowns.

Worcester St. 13, Plymouth St. 10

Worcester, Mass. — Noah Hwang hit a 33-yard field goal with 3:50 to play to give the Lancers (2-6) a win over the Panthers (4-4).

Gallaudet 21, Castleton 17

Washington — Elisha Spinosi scored on an 11-yard run to counter a late Castleton field goal, and Bison (2-6) held on to beat the Spartans (3-5).
