Sharon — Morgan Elaine Tracy and Richard Warren Hackett Jr. have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Chrisondra and Michael Tracy, of Sharon. She graduated from The Sharon Academy in 2010 and earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Lyndon State College in 2014. She is studying to be a physical therapist assistant at River Valley Community College in Claremont and is employed as a rehabilitation aide at Schmidt Physical Therapy in Lebanon. 

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Kathleen Clough, of Plymouth, Mass., and Richard Hackett Sr., of Newport, Vt. He graduated from Lake Region Union High School in Orleans, Vt., in 2010 and earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Lyndon State College in 2014. He is employed as a rehabilitation aide and personal trainer at Cioffredi & Associates in Lebanon.

The couple live in Sharon.
