Swann was named Ivy League defensive player of the week and rookie of the week and also was named STATS national freshman player of the week.
Swann, a 6-0, 180-pound freshmanm broke out against Towson in his first collegiate start with a game-high 13 tackles, including 10 solos, an interception and three pass breakups. Swann’s pick occurred early in the second quarter at the Dartmouth 43 yard-line and set up a Big Green touchdown that gave it the lead for good.
Also, senior safety Charlie Miller was named Ivy League special teams player of the week. He blocked a potential game-tying 22-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter, and also had an interception and seven tackles on defense.
Dartmouth (3-2, 0-2 Ivy) returns to conference action on Saturday when it travels to New York to take on Columbia (1-4, 0-2).
Woodstock
The Wasps scored all their goals in the second half.
Will Crompton, Collin Campbell and Devon Mumford also scored for Woodstock.
Jack Arthur made one save in net for Woodstock, which visits Fair Haven on Friday.
Claremont
Kelsey Belisle assisted on all of Griffin’s goals. Sierra Meunier also scored for the Cardinals, who led 2-0 at halftime.
Keeper Amber Duford made two saves for Stevens, which also received strong midfield play from Beth McNamara.
The Cardinals await their playoff seeding.

Hanover senior Marie Pillsbury had nine digs, while classmates Kat Bristol was 17-for-17 serving with four aces and Rachel Neumann had eight blocks. Ella Breed is the team’s other senior.
