Missing Bradford, Vt., Girl Located

Bradford, Vt. — A 14-year-old Bradford girl who was last seen at her home late Tuesday night has been located.

Melissa Burgess was found in a neighboring community today, according to an email from Bradford Police Chief Jeff Stiegler. The chief said news reports about her disappearance “were extremely helpful in raising public awareness about our efforts to get Melissa home safely.”
