Peaches, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society
“I am almost 6-year-old Peaches. I am one of the longest residents at Sullivan County Humane Society and would really like my own home.
“I have quite the purr-sonailty and will talk your ear off if I want something, like food. You see, I came to the humane society as quite the chubby little girl so they have put me on a diet. I am losing weight at a safe pace but would really like to eat all that I want again.
“Although short haired, I was also very matted when I arrived so had to get my hair shaved. It is growing back in a funny way so I look a little silly now. However, once it has all grown back I will be beautiful!
“I am spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated for fleas and worms, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped.”
Peaches is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.

Crouton, adoptable from the Upper Valley Humane Society
“Hi, I’m Crouton, and I’m a handsome 1-year-old male cat. I love attention, and I will shower you with endless purrs and snuggles! I can be a little bossy with other cats, even though I like them, because I want to be the center of attention.
“Give me all of your petting and love! If you think I’m the purr-fect one for you, come meet me today.”
Teller is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.
