Donna Kingsley 

Chapel Hill, N.C. — Donna Kingsley, 65, was born and raised in Lebanon, N.H., and graduated from Lebanon high school in 1970. Her 18 month courageous battle against leukemia ended early Wednesday morning, Sept. 15, 2016, at the university of North Carolina Cancer Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC, with her husband of 45 years, James, Lebanon class of 1967, by her side.

She is survived by her mother, Esther Braley of Lebanon; brother Thomas and sister-in-law Candy Braley [Seabrook, N.H.]; son Jeffrey, daughter-in-law Sheila, and granddaughters Kaitlyn and Avery Kingsley [Hickham afb Hawaii]; son and daughter-in-law Jason and Christina Kingsley [Trenton N.J.]; sister-in-law Nancy Braley [Orford N.H.]; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joseph and Carleen Baker [Yorktown V.A.], Gary and Brenda Courtemanche [Apache jct Ariz.]; brother-in-law Roy Penniman [New Harbor Maine]; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her father, Carl j. Braley, brother, David Braley, and sister-in-law Joyce Penniman, predeceased her.

Donna enjoyed worldwide travel supporting her husband Jim’s 30+ year and son Jeffrey’s 20+ year U.S. air force careers. She always easily adapted to assignments in California, North Carolina [3], Illinois, Germany, Virginia, Florida [2], Alabama, and Hawaii. Besides her husband, sons, and granddaughters, watching on-line live camera feeds of American bald eagle nests, at times logging into to 9 different sites, were the loves of her life.

Family and friends are invited to the Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory of Lebanon, N.H. for memorial calling hours on Wednesday Sept. 21, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 2 p.m. Donna’s burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
