Lebanon — One person suffered minor injuries after a northbound truck towing a trailer crashed into the guardrail on Interstate 89 near Exit 18 about 6:30 this morning, according to a news release from Lebanon fire officials.
Traffic was backed up for miles as the right lane was closed to clear up the accident, including a spill of about 40 gallons of diesel fuel and gasoline, according to the release. The lone occupant was transported by ambulance to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with minor injuries.
Lebanon officials cleared the scene by 7:45 a.m. The New Hampshire Department of Transportation reported the crash fully cleared by 9:30 a.m.
