North Conway, N.H. — The Executive Council this morning unanimously approved a $36.6 million, 32-month contract for Dartmouth-Hitchcock to provide psychiatric services at New Hampshire Hospital, the state-owned hospital in Concord for people with serious mental illness.
The five-member panel two weeks ago had delayed a vote on the contract, saying it wanted more information about staffing and the suicide of a patient hours after she had been released from the hospital.
