Perkinsville, Vt. —
Nate was born Nov. 29, 1986, in Springfield, Vt., the son of Trevor Watkins and Erin Todd. He graduated from Keene High School, in the class of 2005. He was employed as a truck driver with Ruggiero Trash Removal. He had previously run Clear Away Rubbish & Recycling for about five years.
Nate enjoyed reading, music, being outdoors, driving big trucks, traveling to other parts of the country, and going for long drives on his motorcycle. He was a devoted Patriots fan and an avid home brewer. He loved playing his guitar.
His family and friends were most important to Nate. He was genuine, kind, always willing to help anyone who asked, and especially enjoyed making people laugh. Nate was making plans for the future with his girlfriend, Jamie-Lynn.
Nate is survived by his mother, Erin Todd of Baltimore, Vt.; his father and stepmother, Trevor and Mindy Watkins of Perkinsville; his girlfriend, Jamie-Lynn Loura; two sisters, Jessika (Watkins) Nadeau and Annalise Watkins; two brothers, Layne Watkins and Collin Watkins; grandparents, Glenn and Ellen Watkins; grandfather, Stacey Gates; step-grandparents, Marty and Christine Robinson; great-grandfather, Wilfred Lambert; brother-in-law and friend, Matthew Nadeau; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
Calling hours will be held at Davis Memorial Chapel, 99 Summer Street, Springfield, Vt. on Wednesday, Sept. 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A celebration of life will be held at his home in Perkinsville on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
