Joan M. Dagenais

Lebanon, N.H. — Joan M. Dagenais, 63, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016. She was born in Hanover, N.H. to the late Robert & Geneva (Ezoszonak) Dagenais. Joan Graduated from Lebanon High School and soon after began her career with Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital as a Ward Secretary before retiring after 40 dedicated years of service. Joan Enjoyed knitting and was an avid reader. She had a special place in her heart for all animals especially her three cats Otis, Henry and Sophie. Joan very much believed many animals benefit from the Human Society and was a supporter of their organization.

She is survived by her sister, Donna Atherton of Concord, N.H.; a niece, Courtney Atherton of Dover, N.H.; a nephew, Steven Atherton of Clearwater, Fla.; great nieces and nephews, Elijah, Kaleb, Logan, Owen, Rozlynd, Isabella and Miranda.

Family and friends are invited to the Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory of Lebanon on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for Joan’s memorial calling hours. A private burial will be held at a later date. Godspeed your journey home Joan, we love you.
