She was born in Boston, Mass. on July 14, 1964 the daughter of Wayne and Mary (Donnelly) Deaton.
Linda attended Hanover, Mass. High School and graduated from Granite State College. She taught at Christian schools in Holbrook, Mass. and Weymouth, MA and also worked at Dove Battered Women’s Shelter in Quincy, Mass. Linda lived in Randolph, Mass. for many years before moving to Newbury, N.H. 15 years ago. After moving to N.H. she worked with special needs students at Kearsarge Regional High School in North Sutton.
Linda was a member of Trinity Bible Church in South Sutton, N.H. She loved her home and helping others. Linda enjoyed quilting, cooking, photography and going to the beach.
Her son, Charles W. Marston, died in 2011. Members of her family surviving include her husband of 32 years, William Marston of Newbury, N.H.; her father and stepmother, Wayne and Marilyn Deaton of Middleboro, Mass.; her father and mother-in-law, Charles and Elaine Marston of Centerville, Mass.; a sister and her husband, Kathleen and Chris Gilleo of E. Bridgewater, Mass.; two brothers, Wayne Deaton of Bridgewater, Mass. and Daniel and his wife, Diana Deaton of Hanover, Mass.; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, NH on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Bible Church, 539 NH-114, South Sutton, NH. Burial will follow in Marshall Cemetery, Newell Road, South Newbury, NH.
