Lebanon, N.H. — Anita H. Seamans, 68, formerly of Grafton, N.H. passed away Monday, June 27, 2016, at Genesis-Lebanon Center. She was born in Franklin, N.H. on Oct. 24, 1947, to the late Howard A. & Thelma (Hall) Seamans. Anita graduated from Mascoma High School, Class of 1966. She earned her certification as an LNA and began working for Pierce’s Nursing Home in Enfield, the Clough Center in New London and worked at Genesis in Lebanon until her illness in 2001. During the past year while receiving care at Genesis she grew very fond of a local musical group “The Wild Women”.

She is survived by her siblings, Sandra Barker and family, Tom Seamans (Marilynn), Elaine Stone (Albert), Howard “Chip” Seamans (Peg); nieces and nephews John, Jamie, Tonya, Tara, Eric, Jared, Tabitha and Stacey; many great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. She was pre deceased by a brother Alan Seamans.

Anita’s services were held earlier this month. She was buried at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Grafton in the family lot.

Memorial donations can be made in Anita’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
