East Plainfield, N.H. — Beatrice (Bea) M. Beliveau, 89, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016. She was born in Bowden, Maine to the late William Williams & Elva (Rogerson) Douglass. She was raised by her father and grandmother. She grew up and attended schools in Bath, Maine. She moved to Lebanon in 1950, married Louis A. Beliveau, Jr. and began their family, settling in East Plainfield where they raised their four children. Bea enjoyed her gardens, feeding the birds, and greatly appreciated the view from her back deck. She loved her home and her family. She was not one to travel far but loved returning to Maine and Gloucester, Mass. to visit her family. For many years Bea was known for her homemade doughnuts and shared them with friends and neighbors. Bea was a caring woman, always there when there was a need. Bea entered the work force at Kimball Union Academy following her husband’s death in 1970. She retired from Kimball Union Academy in 1991. She was a past member of the Meriden Congregational Church and of the Meriden Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Later she became a member of the First Baptist church of Lebanon, N.H.

She is survived by her children, Libbie A. Robinson and Alan of Franklin, N.H., William L. Beliveau of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Tamara Pushee and James of Hillsboro, N.H. and Mark Beliveau of Lebanon; brothers, Alan Williams and Dot of Harpswell, Maine, Larry Douglass and Nancy of Auburn, Maine, Carl Douglass and Mildred of Hebron, Maine; and sister, Janice Lee Bolduc also of Maine; grandchildren, Tracy Champagne, Jonathan Gilpatrick, Shannon Bagley, Meghan Pushee, Nicholas Beliveau, Nathaniel Pushee; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, and infant son, Michael Anthony Beliveau, a sister, Josephine Wright and a brother, Sonny Williams, a grandson, Jason L. Beliveau and a granddaughter, Hannah Louise Pushee. Bea was also predeceased by her dear friend and companion of many years, Harry Decato.

Family and friends are invited to the Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon for calling hours on Thursday, June 23, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Beatrice’s funeral will be held on Friday, June 24 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Lebanon, burial will follow in the Mill Cemetery in Meriden NH.
