Newport, N.H. — Terry C. Robertson, 64, of Pike Hill Road died unexpectedly Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center from complications of leuke-mia. He was born in Newport on Jan. 23, 1952, the son of Charles and Goldie (Decato) Robertson. Terry was a lifelong resident of Newport, graduating from Newport High School where he excelled at all sports, especially football (he made the Shrine Team) basketball and baseball. He coached Little League for many years and was an avid supporter of the children’s sports programs in the area. Terry worked at Rugers for 10 years before starting a career with the U.S. Postal Service in 1989, working at the distribution center in White River Jct., Vt. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking, having climbed most of the 4000’ peaks in the White Mountains. Terry was a volunteer with the Newport Fire Dept. for many years. He was the ultimate family man, doing anything he could to help his wife, children, grandchildren and friends.

Members of his family surviving include his wife of 46 years, Adrianne (Zullo) Robertson; three children, Nicole Kinney (Scott) of Manchester, N.H., Craig Robertson (Holly) of Newport, and Terry Robertson (Crystal) of Newport; seven grandchildren, Mikaela, Nicholas, Tyler, Emalie, Anthony, Brenden and Breanne; his parents-in-law Patrick and Beverly Zullo; sisters-in-law, Patricia Heath of Newport and Sandra Audet of Bow, N.H.; two brothers, Jack Marcotte of Newport and Roger Robertson of Croydon, N.H.; a sister, Mary McGowan of Florida; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, N.H. on Friday, June 17, 2016, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Donna Leslie, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
