June LaFlam

 West Lebanon, N.H. — June Alice LaFlam, 81, formerly of Etna, N.H. passed away in the comfort of her home on Thursday June 9, 2016. She was born in Hanover, N.H. on May 22, 1935 to the late Chester & Margaret (Bliss) Stark. She grew up in Etna and attended schools in both Etna and Hanover. June was married to Leonard L. LaFlam Jr. on June 20, 1953. She had worked for the Hanover Inn for a period of time and was a long time member of the of The First Baptist church of Hanover in Etna. She dearly loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known to many as “Mom” even though she was not their mother. She loved all people and it showed. June enjoyed both Vegetable and flower gardening.

She is survived by her husband Leonard L. LaFlam Jr., their children Leonard LaFlam III and his wife Alicia, Lisa Lorna LaFlam and Jean Alice Saben, siblings Nancy Stark Huckins and husband Bernard, Patricia Stark Trembley and husband Joel, Steven Stark and wife Susan, Alan Stark and wife Joanne, Lorraine Stark Eckholm and husband Steven. June was predeceased by siblings Reginald Stark, Wendell Stark, Thomas Stark, Linda Stark, and a son in law Michael Saben.
