Elizabeth E. Mayhew

Zephyrhills, Fla. — Elizabeth E. Mayhew, 76, of Zephyrhills passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, in her home surrounded by friends and family. She was born Jan. 16, 1939, in South Royalton, Vt. to Waylon and Virginia (Annis) Record. She lived and worked in Springfield, Vt. for much of her life as a seamstress and caregiver. In 1989 Betty moved to Florida where she lived the rest of her life.

Betty enjoyed cooking, knitting, and sewing, among other crafts. Most of her life was spent caring for others.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Mayhew of Zephyrhills, and five children: Lori Parker of Windsor, Vt., Pauline (Dale ) Rheaume of Cornish, N.H., Jean (Bill ) Holt of Clearwater, Fla., Shirley Beebe of Clearwater, and Robert L. Beebe, Jr. of Springfield; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Betty will be buried in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield on June 25 at 11 a.m.
