West Lebanon, N.H. — Barbara Ann Ferraro, 83, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016, She was born in Worcester, Mass. to the late Thomas & Cordelia (Whitney) White.

Barbara grew up in Worcester and graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester in 1950. She married her high school sweetheart in 1953, Frank Ferraro, Jr, who predeceased her in 1980. Barbara and her family lived in Germany from 1971-1974 where they enjoyed traveling throughout Europe. Over the years, she had worked for various companies as an Administrative Assistant, including the Dartmouth Thayer School in Hanover, N.H. for many years. She served as an officer supporting the Board of Directors of the Upper Valley Haven in the 1980s. She was a Girl Scout Leader in Shrewsbury, Mass. when her daughters were young. She enjoyed raising her children and helping to raise her grandchildren. She loved family gatherings and spending time with family and friends. Barbara was an excellent cook, having learned from her mother and her mother-in-law, the late Priscilla Ferraro of Worcester. Barbara also enjoyed gardening, reading, historical movies and English Drama.

She is survived by her four children, Christine Godfrey and her husband, Randy of Hudson, N.H., Patricia Ferraro of Lebanon, N.H., Laura Allen and her husband, Mark of Webster, Texas, Frank Ferraro, III and his wife, Susan of West Lebanon; grandchildren, David and Christopher Ferraro, Adam and his wife, Zen Godfrey, Anthony and Olivia Ferraro.
