Hanover
The Raiders made it a clean sweep of sprinting events, with Emily Ball winning the 100-meter dash (13.54 seconds) and 200 (27.56) and Corinne Kennedy winning both the 110 hurdles (15.34) and 300 hurdles (45.46) to aide in the Raiders’ 168.83-94 win over the host Marauders.
Kennedy also captured the high jump (5-2), while Lauren Anikis (32-7.5) won the triple jump for Lebanon.
Elisabeth Nordstrom (800; 2:30.37), Lelia Trummel (1,600; 5:38.05) and Hannah Wittmann (pole vault; 10-0) earned wins for the Marauders.
Hartford placed fourth, led by Ileana Sirois’ win in the long jump (14-10.5) and Calara Posner’s victory in the discus with a heave of 62-1.5.
Distance runner Meaggie Balch won the 3,200 in 12:20.44 for fifth-place Thetford, and Windsor High’s Katey Comstock got victories in three events: shot put (37-6); discus throw (16-8.5); and javelin (111-0).
Lebanon placed second to Kearsarge on the boys side, with Raider wins from Ryan Milliken (100 dash, 11.48; and 200 dash, 23.64), Nate Herndon (400; 54.12) and Ryan Sullivan (long jump; 21-0).
Hanover High’s Morgan Baughman swept the distance events, winning 1,600 in 4:41.49 and the 3,200-meter run in 10:20.04. And Robbie Murdza took the pole vault in 10 feet for third-place Hanover.
Kearsarge’s Zach Astle won the boys shot put in 52-8.5.
Stevens’ Matthew Gobin won the 110 hurdles in 16.08.

Farnsworth won the boys long jump with a leap of 18 feet, 7½ inches as the Royals took fifth place as a team. The senior was runner-up in the shot put (37-3) and grabbed third in the 200-meter dash (25.50 seconds). Ben Jones was second in the 3,200 run and third in the 1,600, and sophomore Owen Schneider took third in the 400 dash and shared second in the high jump.
Junior Haily Bissonnette accounted for most of the Mascoma girls’ points by taking second in the shot put (28-7) and fifth in the discus.

Trailing 5-1 in the fifth, Will Austin singled, Ben Robinson doubled and Cole Cruz and Cade Robinson had RBIs to pull Sunapee within 5-3.
Platt’s three-run shot in the sixth went to straightaway center before Kier Lucas and Ben Robinson provided insurance with RBIs in the seventh.
Lucas (2 innings, no earned runs, two walks, two strikeouts) got the win on the mound for Sunapee in relief of Cruz (3 innings, four walks, five strikeouts).
Sunapee hosts Nute on Friday.

Northfield, Vt.
Jake Stimson helped Oxbow’s cause with a 3-for-5 day, and Hayden Tomlinson went 2-for-5 with two RBIs. Underhill earned the win on the mound as well, giving up two earned runs on four hits with six strikeouts and four walks.
The O’s host Montpelier on Thursday.
South Royalton
McDougall included a double in his 2-for-4 day at the plate. Nick Howe also had a pair of hits, and John Scoskie drove in three runs on a 2-for-3 afternoon.
Scoskie made the most of the support, throwing one-hit ball over five innings before yielding to Dominick Small and Justin Brock. Scoskie struck out eight, walked four and didn’t allow a hit until Rivendell’s Dametres Perry broke up his no-hit bid with a fifth-inning triple.
Perry took the loss but had a good day at the plate, adding a single to go with his three-bagger. The Raptors managed just three hits as a team on the afternoon.
“We’re just trying to make things happen,” South Royalton coach Mike Ballou said. “It’s baseball in Vermont. You make things happen: Sometimes you run, sometimes you try things, sometimes you hit. We’re just plugging along and working hard.”
The Royals host Williamstown on Thursday. Rivendell entertains Chelsea on Thursday.

Stevens broke open a 2-0 game with a two-run fifth and a five-run sixth. Grenier finished with three runs scored, an RBI and two steals and Hussey added two runs, a double and two RBIs. That came in support of complete-game winner Login Berry (four hits, six strikeouts, two walks).
Mascoma broke the shutout in the top of the sixth, Will Morrison scoring on a Ty Warner base hit after reaching base with a walk. Morrison went three innings on the mound and took the loss for the Royals.
Mascoma visits Kearsarge this afternoon in its fifth game over the past six days. The Cardinals play Newport in a home-and-home, day-night doubleheader today.
Windham, n.h.
Windham tagged Perkins for three runs in the opening inning, Lebanon nicked one back in the second, but the Jags followed with five in the third to put the game away. Windham picked up action in the bottom of the second with a 3-1 lead.
The Raiders travel to Milford this afternoon.

Aiden Cudhea (1-for-2, two runs, double) stood out at the plate for Thetford, while Connor Brown (three innings, nine hits, one walk, one strikeout) got the loss on the mound.

Meghan Frederick had a solo home run and Katie Frederick contributed a double as part of a 2-for-3 day for the Lakers. Faith Larpenter pitched well enough to win, giving up just three hits and an earned run over five frames before Katie Frederick silenced Moultonborough over two scoreless innings with five strikeouts.
Larpenter also had a hit for Sunapee, which hosts Nute on Friday.

Summer Spaulding (4-for-5, two doubles, three RBIs), Mara Southworth (3-for-6, two doubles) and Rachel Moore (2-for-4, triple, three RBIs) stood out offensively for the Royals. Moore (four innings, no hits, six walks) doubled as the winning pitcher.
For the Raptors, Shay Lapine had a pair of hits and two RBIs, Heather Dexter had three RBIs and Shaunna Simons contributed two hits and a pair of runs for Rivendell (0-4).
Sierra Longto (four strikeouts, one walk) went the distance in the circle for the Raptors.
South Royalton hosts Williamstown on Thursday.

The hosts surrendered an unearned run in the top of the first before piling on 14 runs over the next three frames to take control. Broughton took the loss on the rubber, striking out three and walking five.
Lebanon returns to southern New Hampshire today with a trip to Milford.

Lebanon’s usual suspects in singles — Jacob Peress, Terran Campbell, Noah Didehbani, Owen Johnstone, Ben Ask and Noah Ryder — swept their way to an insurmountable lead. Coach Mike Haxton juggled his lineups for doubles, with normal third pairing Ryder and Didehbani playing No. 1 and getting a 9-7 decision.
Johnstone and Nick Haidari won at second doubles, 8-2, and Lasse Bisp joined Eric Spaulding for an 8-4 decision at third doubles. The Raiders host Con-Val today.

Ray Kurek played a close match at No. 1 singles against Brattleboro’s Oliver Goodman, losing 6-4, 6-4.

Rine Uhm, Ellen Lamm, Bri Laycock, Mindy Wu, Grace Li and Emma Riessen surrendered just five games out of 53 played in sweeping singles. Emma Watson joined Riessen for an 8-3 decision at third doubles to complement 8-1 wins by the teams of Uhm-Lamm and Laycock-Li.

The Wasps won two of the remaining three matches leftover from Friday’s battle, and it was 2-2 in the second match when Bulldogs exchange student Hanna Gude collapsed on the court, according to Woodstock coach Tom Hopewell.
Gude had finished her match against the Wasps’ Kenzie Biele at No. 4 singles.
“She was walking off the court and collapsed; being as she’s an exchange student, there were no parents there,” Hopewell said of the episode. “We had to call an ambulance. … It was clear there was going to be no more tennis played after that.”
On Friday, singles No. 2 Momo Biele (6-3, 6-0) and the second doubles tandem of Emily Haynes and Ashley Johnson (6-2, 6-1) won for Woodstock. Tuesday featured Wasp wins from Sarah Findeisen (No. 3; 6-1, 7-5) and Elise Geschardt (6-2, 6-0) to clinch it.
In the second match, Kenzie Biele defeated Gude, 6-2, 6-2, and Findeisen won at No. 5, 7-6 (7-2), 7-5.
It was a close one at No 1 singles, with Bulldogs ace Gabby Vella edging Woodstock’s Grace Frazier, 7-6 (7-5), 0-6, 10-7.
It’s unknown if the Wasps and Bulldogs will finish the second match.
“We’re pretty jammed up schedule-wise,” said Hopewell, whose team plays at Springfield today. “We’ll have to let the (schools’ athletic directors) sort it out.”

Head coach Buddy Teevens announced the choices after the team’s annual Green-White spring scrimmage on Saturday.
Orimolade earned first-team all-Ivy League recognition last season for his play at linebacker, leading the league in forced fumbles and ranking second in sacks and tackles for loss. Cooper, a defensive lineman, has been a key reserve for the Big Green through his career, which has included 35 tackles. An offensive lineman, Morrison started nine of Dartmouth’s 10 games last season and has played in all but two games for which he was eligible for his career.
