The bride-to-be graduated from Burke Mountain Academy in 2002 and Brown University in 2006. She earned a master’s degree in public health from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in 2007 and a law degree from Vermont Law School in 2014. She is employed as a clerk at the Vermont Supreme Court for the Honorable Justice Harold Eaton Jr.
The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Valerie Ann and Jonathan Watson Sobel, of Portsmouth and the grandson of the late Raymond Sobel, Professor Emeritus and former Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical School. He graduated from Brown University in 2008 and Tufts Medical School in 2014. He is currently in the second year of his urology residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
The couple plan a September wedding in Kittery Point, Maine.
