Hot Springs, Ark. — Earl B. Lyman, 80, of Hot Springs passed peacefully on April 17, 2016. He was born on May 29, 1935 to the late Leslie and Eunice Lyman in Hartland, Vt. He graduated from Hartford High School, class of 1954.

Earl worked for 32 years for the federal government. He was a member of the Hot Springs Seventh-Day Adventist Church for 25 years; where he was very active. He was instrumental in restarting the youth group called “The Pathfinders”. He also served as Head Deacon for about 12 years.

Whatever Earl found to do whether it was at church or helping other people he did it willingly and with great enthusiasm.

Earl is survived by his wife, Judith Lyman; son, Leslie Lyman (Terri); daughter, Kara Lyman (Rob Price); brother, Howard Lyman (Dottie); sister, Alice Vincent (Robert); grandchildren, Kylie Hogan (Steve Schroeder), Ian Hogan, Kelsey Hartline, Amanda Lynn, Tina Lyman and two great granddaughters, Hannah Schroeder and Lena Hartline.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m.. at the Hot Springs Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor Ron Ray and Elder Jim Griffin officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to their church family for all of their love and care, Dr. Roda, Dr. Kota and her staff, Arkansas Home Health and Dierksen Hospice.
