Dartmouth-Hitchcock today said it plans to employ 285 faculty and staff from the Geisel School of Medicine, effective July 1, as part of a long-planned transition with Dartmouth College’s financially troubled medical school.
The jobs that will be shifted are in the Department of Psychiatry and in clinical research across a number of departments.
The affected employees will maintain or increase their current salaries and keep their current years of service for vesting of retirement benefits and vacation days, a hospital official said.
