Claremont, N.H. — Dorothy E. Baron, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at the Sullivan County Health Care.

Dorothy was born on Sept. 9, 1925, in Boston, Mass. She was the daughter of the late Sabin and Margaret Candage.

She worked for a few years at the Ideal Laundry and Sylvania.

Dorothy (Memere) was happiest when raising her family with her loving husband, Norman (Pepere) on Bible Hill.

She enjoyed traveling to Alaska and loved spending time at the ocean with her family. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dorothy was a devout Catholic, belonging for a long time to a prayer group at St. Joseph Church.

She is survived by her sister, Geraldine Parker; daughters, Gerry Tibbetts, Sandy LaPointe and Donna Gooden and her husband, Michael; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Norman A. Baron, her daughter, Kathleen Baron McGray, brothers, Wesley and William Candage and sisters, Virginia MCInerney and Marion Tron.

A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m. with Father George Majka, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff in the McConnell Unit of the Sullivan County Health Care for their excellent care of our mother.
