Lebanon, N.H. — Mildred W. Farr, 93, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016, at Alice Peck Day Hospital following a short illness. She was born June 17, 1922, in Woodsville, N.H.

Upon her marriage to Roger Farr on April 15, 1942, she moved to Lebanon where she resided the remainder of her life. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lebanon. She also was a member and past President of the Rebekah Lodge. She worked for the Log Cabin Restaurant in Norwich, the Lebanon Post Office and Dutille’s Jewerly Store in Lebanon.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, making crafts and especially baking. She took great pleasure in cooking holiday meals and had made Easter Dinner this year before becoming ill. Her apple pies were especially enjoyed by all.

She is survived by her four children, Ronald (Eleanor) Farr of Etna, Raymond (Rosemarie) Farr of Lebanon, Bruce (Judy) Farr of Northwood and Becky Greenan of Enfield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Per her wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A family gathering will be held later in the spring.
