Bradford, Vt. — Candis Brooke Burnett, 72, of Bradford, died unexpectedly, but peacefully, at home Monday, March 28, 2016.

Candy loved life on ‘The Farm’ growing up; her many horses, dogs, cats, and plants; the beach; and family gatherings. She enjoyed spending time with the computer, knitting, her vast movie collection, crossword puzzles, & solitaire. She was a strong, tough, hardworking, independent, determined, fearless, optimistic, fiercely protective, feisty yet forgiving, sentimental lady with a beautiful smile, twinkling eyes, a great sense of humor, a most adventurous spirit, a strong faith in God, and a heart of gold.

A private honoring and celebration of Candy’s life will be held in Westford, Mass. this summer for family & close friends.
