Fairs promoting local volunteer opportunities will take place on April 20 in cities and towns throughout New Hampshire, including Claremont and Lebanon.
The free events are offered by Stay Work Play Give, a partnership between Manchester-based nonprofit Stay Work Play New Hampshire and young professionals organizations across the state. They’re designed to encourage young professionals to “get civically engaged in their communities” by volunteering with local nonprofits, according to the Stay Work Play website.
As part of those efforts, Sullivan County Young Professionals will host a nonprofit fair from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Common Man, 21 Water St., Claremont.
The Upper Valley Volunteer Fair, hosted by Upper Valley Young Professionals, is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Upper Valley Humane Society, 300 Old Route 10, Enfield. Nearly two dozen nonprofits will be represented, organizers said in a news release.
