Norwich — The Norwich Women’s Club is inviting area organizations to apply for the over $35,000 it has raised for its Community Project Grant program.

“These grants support programs and projects that enhance educational, civic and cultural activities in Norwich,” according to a news release from the club. 

Organizations or individuals that reside in Norwich, or directly benefit Norwich residents, are welcome to apply for the grants. Among last year’s 25 recipients of the over $29,000 that was raised were the Norwich Cemetery Commission, Spark Community Center, the Upper Valley Trails Alliance and Revels North. 

Applications are available at http://www.norwichwomensclub.org/communityprojects.html and are due by May 1. Recipients will be announced on July 1.
