Quechee — Senate President Pro Tempore John Campbell, D-Quechee, won’t seek another term in Montpelier.
The 62-year-old Campbell told VtDigger he plans to become executive director of the Vermont Department of State’s Attorneys and Sheriffs after the legislative session ends this spring.
Campbell, a lawyer and former deputy sheriff in Florida who also works part-time in the Windsor County State’s Attorney’s Office, has represented Windsor County in the Vermont Senate for 16 years.
