Junior Ben Socher collected the lone hit for the Big Green (5-13) with a single up the middle with one out in the sixth, ending the no-hit bid of Bull right-hander Joe Cavallaro. Tommy Eveld completed the shutout, setting down the final six batters of the game — four on strikes — after walking freshmen Steffen Torgersen to start the eighth.
