Boston — Isaiah Thomas scored 23 points, Evan Turner added 17 and the Boston Celtics beat the Toronto Raptors 91-79 on Wednesday night.

Avery Bradley finished with 16 points and eight rebounds as the Celtics won their third consecutive game.

Boston had what had been an eight-point lead at the start of the fourth quarter cut to a point. But the Celtics responded with a 10-4 run to get the separation they needed to close it out.

Toronto had a four-game winning streak snapped and fell 2 ½ games behind Cleveland for the best record in the Eastern Conference.

Cavaliers 113, Bucks 104

Cleveland — LeBron James scored 26 points, Kevin Love added 24 and the Cleveland Cavaliers stayed drama-free during a victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Pistons 118, Magic 102

Auburn Hills, Mich. — Andre Drummond had 30 points and 14 rebounds, and Detroit never trailed in its victory over Orlando.

Chasing their first postseason appearance since 2009, the Pistons have won four straight.

Hawks 122, Wizards 101

Washington — Reserve Dennis Schroder scored 23 points, Kyle Korver connected on five 3-pointers, and Atlanta beat Washington to split the home-and-home series.

Atlanta made a season-high 17 3s to keep pace in a competitive Eastern Conference playoff picture. Paul Millsap scored 17, Korber had 15, and Al Horford 13.

Knicks 115, Bulls 101

Chicago — Rookie Kristaps Porzingis scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Carmelo Anthony added 24 points and the New York Knicks beat the Chicago Bulls.

In the front end of back-to-back with the Knicks, the Bulls failed to complete a sweep of its four-game homestand and dropped behind the Detroit Pistons in Eastern Conference standings for the eighth and final playoff spot.

Jazz 89, Rockets 87

Houston — Derrick Favors’ dunk with 1.6 seconds left lifted the Utah Jazz to victory over the Houston Rockets.

Gordon Hayward had 22 points as Utah moved a half-game ahead of Houston into the eighth and final spot in the Western Conference playoff standings.

Timberwolves 113 Kings 104

Minneapolis — Karl-Anthony Towns had 26 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to victory over the Sacramento Kings.

Zach LaVine scored all 23 of his points in the second half, Andrew Wiggins also had 23 and the Timberwolves overcame a sluggish start to get just their second home victory of the month. They shot 56 percent and had 29 assists to overcome 18-for-32 shooting at the free throw line.
