Julie graduated from Lebanon High School and later from Lebanon College earning her Master’s Degree. She worked for the Timken Company for more than 30 years.
Julie loved to travel and ride a motorcycle. She kept horses on the family farm and always liked riding them, especially with her granddaughter. She enjoyed working on that farm and liked mowing the lawn. Julie was a longtime member of the Croydon Flat Church and a selectwoman in the town for more than 15 years. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed.
Julie was predeceased by her grandparents, Doris and John Lane, Pearl Barden and Ernest Swenson.
Julie is survived by her parents; her husband, Gary Quimby of Croydon; son, Corey Quimby and his partner, Shantelle of Newport; granddaughter, Alexis Quimby of Croydon; brothers, Cory Swenson and his partner, Becky Newcomb of Newport, Mitchell Swenson and his wife, Claudia of Cape Coral, Fla.; uncle, Robert Lane of West Springfield, N.H.; nephews, Nicholas and Cote Swenson; nieces, Amanda Swenson and Crystal Ramey; grandnieces, Aaliya Swenson, Lauren Brewer, and Kimber Ramey; and many members of her extended family.

A memorial service will be held at the Croydon Flat Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016, with Rev. Donna Lee Muise officiating.
