After riding for the first time in thirty years, Martina Quellman, of Hanover, N.H., who turned 94 on March 17, pets Bart, while volunteers Richard Sachs, left, and Liz Claud, the former executive director of High Horses Therapeutic Riding wait to help Quellman dismount at High Horses Therapeutic Riding Program at Brookside Farm in Wilder, Vt., on March 22, 2016. Though this was her first time back in the saddle in thirty years, Quellman grew up riding in Germany, and ran a riding stable in Thetford Center for years.
